Disaster Relief During the 2021 Sangli Floods

When devastating floods struck the Sangli district of Maharashtra in 2021, thousands of families were displaced and left without access to basic necessities. In response to this humanitarian crisis, Sneha Sagar Society reached out to the flood-affected communities with timely relief and compassionate support.

Our team distributed ration kits, along with clothing and blankets and other necessary toiletary supplies, to families who had lost their homes and belongings. These essential supplies provided immediate relief and helped affected families meet their basic needs during a difficult period. The distribution was carried out in Halondi, Jaysingpur, Arjunwad, Kurundhwad, districts of Kolhapur and municipal areas of Sangli-Dhauli, Palus, Ankali and Magarmach colony.

At Sneha Sagar Society, we believe that standing with communities in times of crisis is an essential part of our mission. Beyond providing material assistance, our relief efforts were a message of solidarity, hope, and compassion for those facing hardship.

Through this disaster relief initiative in the flood-affected areas of Sangli, we were able to support families as they began the journey towards recovery and rebuilding their lives.
