Fire Relief Mission – Madh Island (October 2018)

In October 2018, a devastating fire swept through Madh Island, destroying the homes of 30 minority families and leaving them without shelter or access to basic necessities. Responding swiftly to the emergency, Sneha Sagar Society launched a relief mission to provide immediate assistance to the affected families.

Our team distributed drinking water, cooked food, ration kits, bamboo poles, and plastic tarpaulins to help families meet their immediate needs and create temporary shelters. Recognising the importance of ensuring that children's education was not disrupted, we also provided notebooks and examination materials, enabling them to continue their studies despite the tragedy.

Through this relief initiative, Sneha Sagar Society stood in solidarity with the affected families, offering practical support, hope, and compassion during a time of immense hardship. Our commitment extends beyond emergency relief—we strive to restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and help communities begin rebuilding their lives after every crisis.
